TIGHTNESS! October 20, 2005
Reviewer: jas from A true Californian

This cd is awesome! With a bunch of famous artists such as "Jeremy Camp," "Toby Mac," "Jars of Clay," and "Kutless" to name a few. It also has a wide variety of song styles, from the rap of Toby Mac to the halriousness of David Crwder Band. In my personal opinion the best song on the CD is Toby Mac's "New World." But there are several good songs. Well what can I say this CD rocks.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! August 30, 2005
Reviewer: Brianna Coleman from North Louisiana

When I first heard the artist line up for the soundtrack, my jaw dropped to the floor! I was in awe that it was solid Christian artist to be honest with you, I was over joyed and was anxious to hear the songs the artists themselves wrote specially for the album/movie. My favorite songs on this cd are Rebecca St. James' "Lion" and Jeremy Camp's "Open Up Your Eyes". The music is like none you've ever heard before, its set apart. And the lyrics will be the key to opening your heart for God and seeing Him in a deeper way. This will be a soundtrack you'll listen to all year round and through it be encouraged, uplifted, streangthened, and excited! It will be sure to put a smile on your face, and heart!

I have never heard a soudtrack like this one. It is candy for your ears from start to finsh. If this album is any kind of impression of what we can look forward to in the movie, hold on tight and grab your tissue!

Great CD November 16, 2005
Reviewer: Justin from

I think everyone did a great job on this disc. I love the Rebecca St. James song "Lion" but all of the songs are tops. You can put it in and let it play from start to finish without skipping a song

Beautiful music January 6, 2006
Reviewer: Catherine from

I bought this CD only after watching Steven Curtis Chapman’s video of “Remembering You,” so technically I bought it for one song. That quickly changed after I listened to the whole album and fell in love with every song.

Each song describes to listeners the feelings and views of the fated Pevensie siblings and their time in Narnia. The artists, ranging from Song of the Year’s holder Jeremy Camp to worship leader Chris Tomlin, subtly bring up the power and majesty of Jesus Christ through Aslan, King of Narnia, and the strength of each child during their time in it. No song directly mentions Jesus or God, making it a perfect tool to slowly introduce the mysteriousness and love of Christ to non-Christian adorers of the movie.

Songs vary from Delirious?’s slow ballad of strength and love to TobyMac’s rap “New World,” from David Crowder*Band’s upbeat song of temptations to Chris Tomlin’s worship-esque “You’re the One.”

This album is a great buy and contains a unique collection of artists. Pick it up today and accompany it with a viewing of Walt Disney Pictures presentation of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, playing at a theater near you!

The music is great and the artists are some of my favorites. It was a great movie and I can see how they were inspired to write songs.
